Dr. Ann is best known for her natural-looking results, her ability to confidently guide patients through an overwhelming array of treatment options, and her willingness to try anything and everything on herself before offering it to patients!
Dr. Ann’s goal when opening her aesthetic practice was to create a space where she and her “dream team” can continue to explore cutting-edge technologies and innovations in the field of Aesthetics, while making sure that the patient experience is as fantastic as possible.

Meet The Providers
Ann Marshall, MD
Founder/Owner/Physician
Dr. Ann earned a degree in English Literature from the University of Michigan in 1992 and an MD from the University of Chicago in 1996, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She began her career in Emergency Medicine, completing her residency as Chief Resident in Denver and later teaching at UCSF. After relocating to Minnesota, she practiced Emergency Medicine until 2009. Passionate about aging gracefully, Dr. Ann underwent additional training and transitioned to aesthetic medicine. After spending a decade at a well-established aesthetic practice, in 2019 she fulfilled her dream of opening her clinic.
Rachel Thunberg, RN
Registered Nurse
Rachel has a medical background as a Registered Nurse of 18 years that she carries with her to our clinic. She values getting to know each patient and helping them along their journey of aging gracefully. Her favorite part of injecting is combining her knowledge of science and anatomy with the art of aesthetics to provide a natural result for each patient she sees.

Gena Schmoll
Gena’s passion for skin comes from a true commitment for body wellness for her patients. For over 25 years Gena has trained and worked alongside many skincare practitioners, Plastic Surgeons, and medical doctors. Beyond this, she has always found innovative ways to incorporate her teachings from Ayurvedic, yoga practitioners and shamans to create the ultimate balanced experience for her patients.
Kathleen Maier
Advanced Practice Aesthetician
Kathleen has over 15 years working as an aesthetician. She earned her aesthetics license in 2006 at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis. Kathleen loves that the aesthetic industry is always evolving and is excited to partner with her patients to create an appropriate skin treatment plan to achieve healthy, glowing skin.
Clinical Assistants
Abby started her career in aesthetics by becoming a Certified Laser Technician. With her desire to continue her education, she became an Advanced Practice Aesthetician and Phlebotomist. You will most likely see her in our clinic drawing blood for a PlasmaSculpt treatment or recommending amazing skincare products to patients. She feels ardent towards making each person who walks through our door feel confident and comfortable in their skin!

Audrey Yang
Audrey started her journey as a hair colorist. Her passion for skincare blossomed after dealing with her own acne struggles, and now she loves diving into the science of skin! She specializes in blood draws for PRF treatments and enjoys recommending tailored skincare products and celebrating patients' transformations. Outside of work, you’ll find Audrey hiking in Rhode Island with her fiancé, soaking up nature and good vibes.

Jen Halvorson
Jen is our Practice Manager and Knowledge Ninja. Jen has been in the healthcare and aesthetic industry for over 20 years. We’ve never met a problem that Jen can’t solve (sometimes her epiphanies come to her in the middle of working out or shopping with her kids…so we’ve come to expect texts from her at all hours!!). We often joke that Jen’s original plan was to have a fun, part-time gig, but she was so good at everything that she become a pillar of strength for our entire practice. Her quick wit, organization, and easy-going personality are just some of the reasons why we are so lucky to have her on the team!

Sydney Carlson
Sydney is all about spreading kindness and helping others feel their best. With a big heart and a passion for the aesthetics, she dove into this field after battling her own skin challenges. That experience lit a fire in her, leading her to become a licensed AP Aesthetician. Now, she not only understands her own skin better but also loves helping others with their skincare goals! When she’s not in the beauty world, you can bet she’s hanging out with loved ones, getting lost in a good book, or jamming at a concert.

Chris Audette
With over 20 years of experience in customer and client service, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Holding an associate's degree in applied science, Chris's career started as a receptionist and climbed the ranks to office manager. Known for her compassionate and fun-loving nature, Chris creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the clinic. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending the summers exploring Minnesota’s lakes and campgrounds with her husband and their two young boys.

Tina Nimz
We absolutely love the sweet and caring energy that Tina brings to our practice. Prior to coming to Dr. Ann Aesthetics, she worked as a freelance graphic designer and Cycle/Studio Instructor for Life Time. She is all about helping others achieve their optimal health and believe that skin health is a large component of that.

Tabita Georgiyesh
Originally from Ukraine, Tabita is a passionate former nanny and daycare teacher who adores working with children. Currently pursuing her studies through online school, she balances her academic life with her love for the gym, basketball, and pickleball. In her free time, she loves to create fun and engaging social media content, showcasing her vibrant personality and interests. Tabita brings enthusiasm and creativity to everything she does. Her zest for life and adventure is truly infectious!
